Hi all,
I need help and soon please.
Here is what happend:
I have been at work minding my own business doing some document formating in Ope Office writer. Another words nothing unusual, or something I wouldn't usually do. So Then I've decided to listen to some music and clicked amaroK button on my KDE application panel. And that's when it happend! My PC has suddenly restarted. So I was very surprised, cos as far as I know sudden rebooting with loss of all the valuable unsaved data is something Windows usually does, and NOT linux. So, anyhow, I've waited till system restarts and all went well except when it came to starting X server all froze

I've restarted again - same result!!! So I got my Linux live CD distro (I have many of those) and booted from that one (it was Slaks Live). All went well and I, CD booted, and I started Midnight Commander, went to /mnt folder. All my partitions were listed there:
/mnt/hda5 < home partition
/mnt/hda6 < root partition
So I thought it wouldn't hurt to back up my personal files from hda5, so I got my flash drive and mounted it. BUT as soon as I selected My Documents on hda5 and plessed F5 (copy) system gave out a beep and messages "File not found" started to pop up
I had to reboot, but now, once I boot to Live CD, my hda5 partition is empty, there is NOTHING there!!!! and surely enough flash drive is empty too.
All my data has gone!!!
Does anyone know how to restore files on ReiserFS??? PLEASE, it's urgent
Thank's a lot for your help.
