Redhat 9 - Radeon 9600 - Help
 

Well from what i gather no one has a ATi radeon class card working correctly, feel free to correct me if im wrong on this... but i've found nothing of any help to be frank..
I only seem to be finding people with the same issues...

ok... at hand... i've tryed all the methods of install using the tar.gz .rpm and srpm .. i followed all installation guides provided by ATi and none of them worked... i have come to one simple conclusion...

ATi have faulted in producing a working set of drivers.... yeah my comment my be out of hand... yes im kind of a linux noob.. but im not that noob ya know...

What i find interesting is that with each different install method, weather be rpm or tarballs source... i get different errors in each method.

Im stumped.. i feel i've throwin away $200 on a peice of hardware thats non-compatible yet theres drivers for it...
I do have a nvidia card in my other redhat 9 box.. setup it up within minutes and its running flawlessly...

So if any of you dedicated Redhat Guru's feels like a challange... please drop me a line... I'd like to find a way to make it work with some help and make a post for all to use....
