Redhat 8.0 with Alcatel SpeedTouch USB

Hi,

I just installed Mr. Papallaut's drivers for controlling the SpeedTouch USB ADSL modem. I also extracted the mgmt.o file as per instructions and configured everything accordingly to the instructions and it still doesn't seem to work.
When I check the connection I see the PPP display but under received and transmit, all I see is 0. It's quite strange as the microcode is loaded and all the scripts are configured and it seems to have found the PPPoA without any problems.
Anybody have any ideas??

More precisely here's what I've been getting.......

copied the /etc/ppp/resolv.conf file to /etc ?
