Red Hat microsoft mouse/keyboard

Hi I was wondering if anybody knew how I could make the thumb buttons on an intellimouse explorer USB, work in red hat linux 8.0, They do work but they just do the same as the middle and right buttons, I was hoping for a way to bind them to a keyboard command or somthing like that.

Also I have a microsoft natural pro keyboard with all the extra internet buttons and the like I was wondering if there was a way to use them

Try this link to get your keyboard to work.
I don't know that to do with the mouse. But i'm sure it's configurable.
