Recommended Distro for a Touch Screen Notebook?

Hey all,

So I am picking up a touch screen notebook later this week and the first thing I plan on doing is wiping it and loading some form of Linux onto it. I was wondering if there is any particular distro(s) out there that have better default support for touch screen right "out of the box" so to speak.

Or should I just plop Ubuntu on it and call it a day?

I recommend Slackware 13.0

Sure, you could just install ooboontoo.

And you could also install Redhat too. but do yourself a favor and do it right.

Will Slackware support most of the touch screen features by default? I currently have Ubuntu on it and it is sorely lacking :(
