reassingning multimedia keys

Hi,

I would like to reassign multimedia keys on geniues luxemate keyboard.

http://www.genius-europe.com/english/keyb/keyb11.htm

I would like to have cut(ctrl-x), copy (ctrl-c), paste (ctrl-v), undo(ctrl-z), redo(ctrl-v) functions available for all aplications.

I would also like to reprogram the scroll whell keyboard to some other key combinations (for zooming in gimp +/-) or page up/down since it naturally goes just one line up/down.

What program (or combination) would be the best?

I found a few: xev, xkeycaps, xmodmap... but i dont understant the actuall process.

thank you

Re: reassingning multimedia keys

You might want to take a look at the Mapping Multimedia Keyboard - Need more help thread. Have a go at following the instructions in this post in that thread. It looks like some of the key symbols you'll want to map are XF86Cut, XF86Copy, XF86Paste, Undo and Redo.
