Realtek RTL-8139C Lan Card in Toshiba A75-S213 is not recognized by Ubuntu 9.10

This is my first posting. Ubuntu 9.10 is installed on a Toshiba Satellite A75-S213 notebook, but the (Realteck) RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+ (rev. 01) Lan Card is not recognized. I couldnīt find a Linux driver for it.
Thanks

Hi,

My suggestion is to try:

open terminal

Code:
sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
Add a single line:
blacklist 8139cp

Save and close gedit.
Reboot.
