Really need some help

Hey all!
I am an audio producer and i really need to set up MIDI Input/Output I've been messing around trying to find drivers and such for my hardware , but so far no luck, it really doesn't help that i am really green when it comes to Linux here is the hardware i must get running:

* MOTU (Mark Of The Unicorn) Micro Lite midi interface.
* M-Audio Axiom 49 Keyboard Midi Controller.

I've tried looking for working drivers for my MOTU interface to no avail, and only found Media/Sound usbmidi which in fact doesen't compile under kernel 2.6.20. Neither could i find any suitable drivers for my axiom 49, and i have no idea how to set up midi output/input.

The end result i want is to be able to playback and record midi In Rose garden, If anyone might be able to walk me through the process it would me very much appreciated.

I am running sabayon linux 3.3

Hi there! While I cannot directly help you, you may get some insight by browsing either the HCL for that hardware, if you haven't, and also in the Gentoo forum, as Sabayon is I believe based on Gentoo.
Best of luck; if I personally see anything appropriate around here, I'll post it for you.

I suggest you post this on sabayon.org, quite af ew helpful and knowledgeable people around there. There just aren't too many sabayon users here. Unless a gentoo user jumps in because, yes, sabayon is based on that one.
