READ CAPACITY FAILED message

Hi all!

Installed SuSE 8.0 Pro on ext2 partition over an existing Mandrake 9 system (SuSE supposed to have formatted the partition while installing). Dual booting Win2000.
Now I keep getting this message:

linux kernel: sda: READ CAPACITY FAILED

and sometimes:

linux kernel: unable to read partition table

Nothing "unusual" happens after that and everything, so far, seems to work fine, but the messages are worrying me!

Thanks for your suggestions!
