I made my first post here yesterday about not being able to use my pcmcia ehternet and wireless ethernet cards on my hp pavillion laptop using Fedora core. My guess is that there is an onboard ethernet controller but I do not use the port because it does not work (with window$ either). I have a cd that has the drivers for them but I do not remember how to install them. I am not too experienced with Linux, I've only taken an intro class. I had problems mounting my cdrom. My thing is that I recently started an IT position and I would like to become fluent in Linux so that I can take advantage of its server functions. I am a fast learner so please do not judge me based on my ignorance.
