In fact I bought it because other Linux users have had success with it. But it's a PCI card, not sure that will work for you. I tend to shy away from USB devices and so did not go this route. But basically lots of devices that are supposedly "Windows only" use chipset's that V4L (Video4Linux) have supported for a long time. Some don't. So find out what the chipset is and do your homework. I have read of several USB devices working with Linux, Google is your friend, in this case. But hopefully someone here can chime in with personal experience.
