Ralink wireless PCI card issue with old ECS motherboard
Hello, my Ralink wireless card kind of miscommunicates with the motherboard 2004 era ECS-dx+ or sth like that model. Occasionally the internet connection goes really slow and I even get disconnected. The leds stop beeping during those moments. It sure is not a problem of the router since I checked synchronously with a laptop and the laptop doesn't get disconnected. I suspect irq issues. Maybe sometimes there isn't given much processing time to the wireless card to operate. The card is sharing irq 5 with a usb, this is normal I suppose.

I'd like some more expert opinions since I'm stuck, I use puredyne linux, a multimedia distro based on xubuntu. Thank you :-)
