Radeon 9800 Drivers on Fedora Core 3 64 bit
Ok...I'm new to the whole Linux deal. I recently installed Fedora Core 3 to see what it was all about. I have the 64 bit edition since I'm running an AMD Athlon 64 3500+. ATI just recently released drivers to run with and the 64 bit Fedora OS. I can't get these things to work right. Can anyone possibly give me a step by step on how to install these drivers? I've been talking with a couple people in another forum and they couldn't help me. They we also kind of confusing. Thanks in advance for any help.

Sometime I use ideas from other distros. You should be able to adjust the verbiage to use for FC3.

HOpe this helps. Right now I'm having problems with my new LCD monitor. Runs fine until X starts, then scramble screen. I'll get there, though.

We're all having problems with the ATI drivers (I'm on SuSE 9.2). I'm sure more information will become available, as the drivers have only been available for download since 1/17/2005...
