quickcam usb driver


Hi any idea which quickcam usb driver might work with a logitech quickcam chat, i am running suse 10.1. i have tried qc-usb-0.6.4 from source forge with no effect.

slowly getting there.

Best start by getting aquainted with the LQ Search or LQ HCL (Hardware Compatability List) if you don't know the chipset it uses. Searching LQ for "logitech quickcam" gives you enough threads to read and leads to try IMHO. If you have tried some and failed, please post which instructions you followed, kernel and driver version, at what stage errors occur and please post *exact* errors (if any).
