question on mounting iomega at start up

I am using
Kernel 2.6.8.1
Gnome 2.6.1
Iomega module uses "ppa"
redhat 9

Everytime I have to do "modprobe ppa" to make the iomega drive modules work?

I try to put "modprobe ppa" in /etc/modules.conf and modprobe.conf.
But no work?

How do I modprobe ppa at startup of the computer?

Regard

you use imm. it means you are use the new type of zip drive. I am using ppa. That mean is very old one.

Got solution:
I add "modprobe ppa" in /etc/rc.d/rc.local
