PVR-500 Video card

I upgraded a suite of packages the other day and Im sure the IVTV drivers could have been one of them.. I thought I verified my video card drivers were running properly but today I cant get the video device to open.

One of the things I noticed was the error

Appears during the update there was a problem with the ivtv-firmare dependency (ivtv) having the correct checksum on many of the mirrors. After about ten tries it did install and looks like its running properly now.
