Question Problems with the LeadTek WinFast TV2000 XP RM

At the moment, I am currently trying to get the above TV capture card to work correctly in Linux 2.6.21.5 on Ubuntu Linux. The card is in an Asus A78VX-X motherboard with a BFG NVidia GEFroce 6600 GT, with the binary drivers in use.

The card is detected as follows by the kernel:

Code:
bttv: driver version 0.9.17 loaded
bttv: using 8 buffers with 2080k (520 pages) each for capture
bttv: Bt8xx card found (0).
bttv0: Bt878 (rev 17) at 0000:00:0d.0, irq: 16, latency: 32, mmio: 0xcf000000
bttv0: detected: Leadtek TV 2000 XP [card=34], PCI subsystem ID is 107d:6609
bttv0: using: Leadtek WinFast 2000/ WinFast 2000 XP [card=34,insmod option]
bttv0: gpio: en=00000000, out=00000000 in=003ff502 [init]
tuner 1-0061: chip found @ 0xc2 (bt878 #0 [sw])
bttv0: using tuner=2
tuner 1-0061: type set to 2 (Philips NTSC (FI1236,FM1236 and compatibles))
bttv0: i2c: checking for MSP34xx @ 0x80... not found

bttv0: i2c: checking for TDA7432 @ 0x8a... not found
bttv0: i2c: checking for TDA9887 @ 0x86... not found
bttv0: registered device video0
bttv0: registered device vbi0
bttv0: registered device radio0
bttv0: PLL: 28636363 => 35468950 .. ok
input: bttv IR (card=34) as /class/input/input6
A hardware scan from xawtv shows the following:

Code:
/dev/video0: OK                         [ -device /dev/video0 ]
    type : v4l2
    name : BT878 video (Leadtek WinFast 20
    flags: overlay capture tuner
Yet when I run xawtv with the following rc file:

Code:
[global]
freqtab=us-cable
fullscreen=640x480

[defaults]
norm=ntsc
capture=overlay
input=Television
audio=stereo
I get a green screen with tracking interference along the top. mplayer shows the same output, while tvtime shows a blue screen. mplayer also complains about lack of audio as well (but that comes later, after I get video working!).

Can anyone help me figure out why this isn't working? AFAIK the card is detected correctly - have I used the wrong tuner arg for the kernel module?
