Problems using Internal Hardrive as user

I just started using PclinuxOs. I just redid my whole computer, and put a 40G hard drive for the os and a 60G for storage but whenever i try to use the 60G to put files on it for instance, music, it tells me it is not accesible by this user, and they are only readable. I wanna make this 60G hard drive a storage for putting music and other information on, but not sure the first thing to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We really need more info, as it could a number of things, but you might check the permissions of the mount point before the drive is mounted. Make sure your user has permissions to write to that folder. Then remount the drive and check it out.
