Problems setting up HP 1020 laser printer

i read all the threads here i could find about this particular printer, but i didn't find any solution.

i followed the instructions and installed the driver for my printer from here http://foo2zjs.rkkda.com. everything went well, but when i try to add a printer i get this error:

Quote:
An error occurred while retrieving the list of available backends:
Connection to CUPS server failed. Check that the CUPS server is correctly installed and running.
i have cups, so i dunno what to do, i'm stuck here :-/

edit:
i forgot one tiny little thing:
Code:
/etc/rc.d/rc.cups start
so now it works perfectly (thanks to AxeZ)
