problem with synaptic touchpad in FC4

Hi All,
I am using FC4, kernel version 2.6.11 on my Lenovo C100 laptop. I have a problem in my synaptic touchpad, the two buttons work fine and also I am able to move the mouse pointer with the touchpad. I am not able to get "single left click" action by touching the touchpad serface. If I touch the touchpad cerface it should work like a left button click but, its working like i am pressing both left and right button together. I used RHEL3 and KNOPPIX and could get the left click on that, but on FC4 it dosn't work. please help me in this.
