I am assuming it's one of those card readers with multiple slots. If that's the case, you'll need to enable "Probe all LUNs" in the kernel configuration. (CONFIG_SCSI_MULTI_LUN=y)

Yes it is an 8-in-1 reader, im not used to configure the kernel at all.... how can i see if the kernel is configured for CONFIG_SCSI_MULTI_LUN=y ?
