Problem with network and RAID on Centos 5.2 and Centos 5.4

Hi everyone. This is my first post on LinuxQuestions.org and i will be glad if you can help a newbie like me :) Here is my problem.

First of all what i am trying to do is installing centos 5.x as a mysql server

What i have as hardware:
Mainboard : Intel Server Board S3420GP
CPU : Xeon x3430 2.4 ghz
Ram : 2 x 2 GB DDR3
HDD : Fujitsu - 147 GB 15k RPM SAS
RAID Card : FastTrak TX 4660

Centos 5.4(64 Bit) was unable to find SAS HDD device. But able to install on a SATA disk. So i've tried to install device driver. But "Promise does NOT have TX4660 driver for Centos 5.4" (So from now on anybody search for this driver will see that there is no driver :) )
Only support Centos 5.2 (can be found at promise.com download center)
So i have installed 5.2 with promise driver. Installation found device and completed. But then i see that this time 5.2 did not find LAN driver. I could not find any driver for this at intel.com. So i decided to install centos 5.4 again this time on a SATA disk.

Now i have 1 SAS and 1 SATA disk but as i said before its unable to find and use SAS disk.

What i need is: using SAS disk for mysql so i have to install RAID driver but there is no driver for that.

Any idea will be usefull.

Thanks.

Have you tried creating a support ticket to Promise for the TX4660 driver? I had issues with my EX8350 and promise helped me to get a driver compiled for my unsupported kernel.

Normally their service is quite good.
