Problem with my Samsung CLP-300 printer
Hi guys,
I wanted to use my Samsung CLP-300 printer in linux. My OS is Slackware 13.1. Now the problem is that I can't print anything. As you can see my printer is connected to the computer. http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/9223/step4u.png Now the steps I did in CUPS. 1. http://img686.imageshack.us/img686/8375/step1tg.png 2. http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/3608/step2e.png 3. http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/556/step3k.png Everything is done, CUPS says that the printer is connected and idle. If I want to print a test page or anything else, CUPS says Processing - "Waiting for job to complete...". I was away for some hours and it's still the same text. Tested CUPS with foo2qpdl and splix drivers but couldn't success with any. What would you guys advice me in order to solve this printing issue? |
Does someone have any idea?

I'm not sure about Slackware, but I had similar issues in Debian with this printer. See this post here for details. Perhaps from it you can find some clues to get it working in Slackware.
