Problem Installing on DELL PowerEdge R300

I got to install Fedora on a brand new Dell PowerEdge R300. But I'm having the following problem:

With FC5 Install cd-rom boots, ask for lenguage and keyboard layout, but after that it asks what type of install media I wish to use, I choose "CD-ROM" and then he ask for the driver.
The message I get if I press ALT+F3 is "got to setup cdRom without a cd device".

I also tried with FC8 (DVD) and Ubuntu 7.10. Ubuntu really couldn't boot the live-cd.

There is some module missing to manage the DVD drive?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Matías

Solved

Well, this is my own response. May be usefull for somebody.

Finally, on may 13 Fedora Core 9 was officially released. I tried with Core 9 and some issues related with S-ATA DVD-rom was solved. System was installed without any trouble.
