Question Problem installing madwifi with Dlink 1320

Hello

First of all, thank you for reading my post. I'm new in Linux and I have recently installed SUSE 10.2 and I installed a wireless pci card D-Link WDA-1320. I downloaded the file madwifi-ng-current.tar.gz then I unpacked it in the folder madwifi-ng-r1871-20061229.
When I execute the command 'make', I get the following error '*** Cannot detect kernel version - please check compiler and KERNELPATH. Stop.'
I just don't know what to do. I don't even know if the wireless card is compatible with linux. I probably should install the driver in a different way but I don't know how to do that. Any suggestions on this problem?
Thanks a lot.
Chris

Hi,

Did you set KERNELPATH ? You also need kernal source (or headers).

Happy Penguins!
