Printer Problems

I have a Canon S900 inkjet under Fedora and it prints except it prints the page reduced to 1/4 of the actual size in the upper left of the page. I have checked my page setup. Is there something I need to check? I am new to Linux. Thanks!

When you installed the Printer did you install it as GhostScript printer>?
When you print are you printing through Samba, CUPS-lpd, or just lpd?

I got it to work with "Turbo Print", but they want $25 to use there drivers. Anyone know of another way to use a Canon S900 with Linux?

I changed the DPI setting from the default 300 Dpi to 1200 Dpi and that made the tesp page fill the whole paper ... took much longer as well ...

Apperantly Canon Japan has published Linux drivers, so it would be nteresting why the rest of the Canon world haven't got it ...

http://cweb.canon.jp/drv-upd/bj/bjlinux220.html
http://cweb.canon.jp/drv-upd/bj/other.html

Flipside is that it is in Japaneese

According to German magazine Linux User it is pretty good ... not all printers are represented though from what I gather the S900 is called F900 in Japan so I think there is a driver there ...
