PowerPC development tools?

Is there anyone engaged in microprocessor development? expecially in the design of freescale PowerQUICC series, such as MPC8548E, MPC8572?

Then, where did you purchase your tools, eg. emulator, intergrated development environment ,
and evaluation board?

You answers are too valued to be ignored.

Any tips about PowerPC development is welcome, too.

Thanks!

Generally, you have to prepare such tools as dev. board, emulator and IDE to process further.

Most of the dev. boards have little difference for a certain type of MPU, you can buy from freescale or other manufacturers; As to IDE, you can use CodeWarrior made by freescale , if you do not mind the price.

I'm paying close attention to PowerPC tools recently, to buy is MPC8572 reference platform, used for network communication, and I'm now keeping in contact with the salesman of MICETEK.

MICETEK provides wide range of development boards based on PowerPC. You can also contact with them. The website is www.micetek.com. You can visit it, and then make your decision.

Hope this message can help you.
