I have a hardware problem, but since it is to help me set up LINUX for the first time I posted it on the Newbie forum. I would be grateful if any hardware experts could look at my thread and reply there:

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
