Portable hard drive

Hello I am interested in purchasing a mobile hard drive to store operating system and also be able to carry around to college.

Do you think the IRIVER would do the job efficiently.??

Are there any drives which provide a ethernet interface.

USB problems

thanks, but my latitude seems to have some issues with USB. The LEXAR flash drive never worked. Although my external usb cdw is working fine. In short, USB has been unreliable which is why I have been looking external hard drives with ethernet interface.

If you know of any mdia players with more interfaces options, please let me know.

You probably will not be able to boot from an ethernet storage device.

Have you googled

you could get a Cruzer Mini, they go up to 1 gig, you can fit some OSs on that
