Post poor quality video with M$ VX-1000 webcam+GSPCA driver

Hi,
I got a M$ lifecam VX-1000 webcamera. now it is detected and working with cheese, camorama etc applications using HIS drivers(Thank you Man! ).

The Problem is with this module any of these apps shows very poor quality video,FPS is around 23-24 on camorama and on Gnome's cheese,it is dragging

reg,pic quality,it is like B/W with a orange,green and blue colors flickering

I tried adjusting camora for hue, bright, contrast etc but all in vain

Tried,modprobbing as :
Code:
modprobe gspca gamma=4
to hopefully correct gamma.but still video seems garbled and unclear!

So,Please share your ideas and Help me solve this!

Thank You!

PS:In windows XP,this webcam works really good with average quality video @ res 640x480
