Plugging in USB devices freezes RH 7.3

If I have my USB keyboard plugged in, RH gets to the part about initialize the USB controllers and won't go any further when booting. If I wait until after the system is started to plug in my keyboard, the entire system locks up. My keyboard worked fine during the install... what's the deal? Any suggestions?

After intentionally causing either problem, start up with a non-usb keyboard an look back through /var/log/messages to the point of the problem for some diagnostic info. Post it here if that doesn't seem to fix it.

Cheers!
