Please help
 

No sound from cd rom.....test sound is ok.....very very new to redhat.

soundblaster live
oh yeah did I mention im new to redhat, like 1 hour

Try looking at the settings for your volume control and mixer programs. You might also want to check to see that the audio cable from your CD to your sound card (or sound card section on your motherboard) is ok and properly plugged in.
