thanks for your reply.
No I've got just onboard sound and the multimedia controller of the tv card. This is, what I first (after reboot) have to configure using alsaconf. I couldn't make alsa recognising my card without configuring at each system start. This was the first problem I haven't solved yet.
With a few workarounds (found in the web and on LQ) I've got TV including fullscreen and sound:
1: alsaconf -> activating soundcard
2: rmmod bttv; rmmod bt878; modprobe bttv;
3: running xawtv as xawtv -c /dev/video0 -remote -global:filter "linear blend"
I'm still trying to find a solution for the first two steps, because this shouldn't be standard. Xawtv once ran on my computer without the long line in 3, but I realised an alias, so I don't mind.
