pinnacle pctv deluxe X pctv-gtk

Hello,

I have been trying to get my USB pinnacle pctv deluxe to work in my linux and it has been quite hard to do it. I followed many instructions i gathered with time and finally upgraded my desktop to a FC3 and decided to give it one more try. I just installed pctv-gtk (pctvgtk.sourceforge.net/) using dunetools and thought it would be piece of cake... But no. When i run pctv-gtk (as root) i get:

Video ADC not ready. Probably no input signal
or wrong pal/ntsc setting.
Segmentation fault

And the LEDs indicate i have no signal feeding my tuner. But i am sure it has it since i just used it under windows. I wonder what i am missing here. I copied the files as dunetools README suggested to /usr/local/lib/dune/ and the binaries (dunerec and duneinit) to /usr/local/bin.

Thanks for any help,
