philips 7130 tv-card

I need some help i just bought a tv-card based on the philips 7130 chipset and now im unable to get it to work. The most likley reason that i have failed is that i have no idea what module to load the only one i could find that was close was "modprobe 7134" but of course that didnt work. Could someone please help me or point me to a good howto.
please dont suggest google because ive been searching for a week without finding a solution.

Setting up an saa713x card depends where you live. Also the kernel version that you should be using is at least 2.6.10. I suggest using the latest stable kernel version. I suggest using tvtime and select either Composite 2 or S-Video first because the TV tuner can be set later. The program xawtv does not work well with the saa713x based cards. Also do not forget to set TV norm or TV signal (NTSC, PAL, PAL-60, PAL-DK, etc). Connect a VCR, DVD player, or a game console to the composite or s-video connector. You should be able to see the video. If you see the video, then it is working. Setting up the TV tuner is trial and error. You have to try all tuners in the tuner list until one works. For sound, I suggest connecting headphones to the line out jack of the video capture card. If there is no sound, you probably have to load another module for the sound IF chip. It is usually tda9887, but I suggest phyiscally looking at the card.

It does help if you post the brand and model of your saa713x video capture card.

BTW, you will not find a good howto as good as the first paragraph.
