Pentium MX6B EZ Power Problems

Hello,

My Problem: When I turn on the computer, once the monitor turns on the computer will shut down.

I TRIED: A diff. Power supply, video card, ram and turning on the computer with all IDE ports open, I have checked the hard drive and when I take out the ram or video card the board will beep and turn off.

? I tried to clear the cmos by jumper settings, but am unsure if what I did was correct. I followed the instructions on the Motherboard, i.e. 1-2 normal/ 2-3 clear cmos.

*When I take off the jumper it will stay powered up but will not show anything on the monitor.

CAUSE: I had a bad hard drive and placed it in another computer(the one in question, with the Pentium MX6B EZ Motherboard,) to get its information. I put the "bad" hard drive in as a slave, but the Pentium could not read it "i.e. the bad HDr." I then proceeded to put the "bad" drive in as a master and after turning on the computer it would shut down right after the monitor turns on.
I have managed to repair the "bad" drive and am now wondering why and how to fix the problems with the Pentium MX6B EZ motherboard.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Such help could be what the Jumper settings DO and what I need to do with them. Thanks.
