Pentium 4 HT Overheats


I got p4 2.8 HT which normally shows 50 degrees and when put some load even
avg antivirus scanning system,temp will rise to 68-72C.I already changed my cabinet to funnel on the side type.what to do now?what to do now?what to do now?what to do now?

PLEASE HELP!

try cleaning your fans (chassis, processor and others) with a brush and remove dust...
One of the reasons for P4 HT getting heated.

Also, ensure there's enough space for air to ventilate between the CPU and the outside environment!

Hi would also suggest checking all the cabling is tidy and check all fans are operating and the airflow is not being blocked in any way!
