PEAK DVB-T TV Tuner USB
Hi, I have a PEAK 102569AGPK that I can't get to play nice. Any ideas?
Using Ubuntu Netbook 10.10 2.6.35-22-generic lsusb-v gives this: Bus 001 Device 006: ID 1b80:d395 Afatech Device Descriptor: bLength 18 bDescriptorType 1 bcdUSB 2.00 bDeviceClass 0 (Defined at Interface level) bDeviceSubClass 0 bDeviceProtocol 0 bMaxPacketSize0 64 idVendor 0x1b80 Afatech idProduct 0xd395 bcdDevice 1.00 iManufacturer 1 realtek iProduct 2 usbtv iSerial 0 bNumConfigurations 1 <etc> But no driver is being found - dmesg: usb 1-1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 6 Works well under windows, which identifies it as an rtl2832u. I've tried installing Realtek-provided drivers, but still device is not found. Thanks in advance! |
I played with an Asus u3100 astc usb tuner. It was a lot of work and time wasted.
I'd suggest you see this for any hope of buying one that is supported. http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/DVB-T_USB_Devices |
