pci speedtouch pc modem drivers

Hello I am new to linux,have installed Ubuntu and am very pleasd.However the one piece of hardware I am haveing truoble setting up in an internal pci adsl modem it is a alcatel speedtouch pc type.any help reguarding weather a driver is avilible and installtion would be greatly received. thanks Paul.
