Partition Scheme
 

I have a 120gb IDE style hard drive in my machine which is to be used as a small department server. What partition scheme would you recommend. Here is what I did:

root ~5gb
/var ~5gb
/usr ~20gb
/home ~88gb

They are ext3 type.

Your help would be much appreciated.

What kind of server exactly?

Email, file storage, lite web use, lite database use

For that, I would suggest using clarkconnect and partitioning:

/ 20GB
/boot 200MB
/var 20GB
/home 78GB
SWAP 1.8GB
