[Resolved]Partition recovery

Hello!
I tried to make a new partition with fdisk. When i typed "w", i got an error message like "kernel unable to read the partition table, i will be used on next startup" ... I didn't pay any attention to it and continued to work.
When i restarted my computer, i hadn't any partitions more...
When i launch fdisk (from a rescue disk), it didn't show any partition ...
My partitions where ext2/3 and where logical partition ...

Anyone got an idea ??

Thanks

Use gpart. It'll try to guess where the partitions are and allows you to write the results to your partition table. It works quite well. Be very careful when working with it, it may be dangerous.
