jimeotis LQ Newbie Registered: Apr 2005 Posts: 1 Rep:	Parport_pc driver not correct for the IT8874 serial port card. I purchased a dual pci serial port card from Intergated Technology Express model IT8874f. My Fedora 2 sees the card but calls it a parallel port card. I cannot connect to any /dev/ttyXXX to make this card work. It seems that the parport_pc driver only has parallel access?? Does any one know where I could get a serial driver for this unit? And or the Major/Minor number?? I tried contacting ITE and have not receive a response as of this time. Jim Otis
