Parallel Port Device Driver

Hello guys,

I am writing a Parallel Port Device driver.
For the same i need the datasheet for any standard parallel port.

Does anyone know where do i get it?
I tried it on net but couldnt get it...

look here or here. That should give you all the information you need to make a driver. Lays out specifically what each pin does.

I guess it will require a days time or so...
I am implmenting it without using interrupts.

Typically implementing it with the help of kernel timers...
I want the functionality of the driver to output the data at specific frequency... thats the reason
