Have you tried seeing what which one offers and describes by going to each of their homepages:

http://www.winlinux.net/2003/

http://www.lindows.com

Lindows is a Debian based distro which is like any other distro, well that's what they claim but you won't see me installing it most likely as its not given away for free or cheap, and its geared toward newbies making a transition from Windows.

WinLinux from what I know is a distro that will install from or while your in Windows.. that's about all I could tell you on that one.

LINDOWS is design to run windows programs. It uses WINE to run windows programs. It is not fully LINUX. Its half-half.

If you want to try LINUX. You can select any distributions besides those.

If you want an ease of installing LINUX distributor go with Mandrake.

If you want to skip the ease of installing go with FreeBSD, Slackware, Debian, or even Scratch LINUX.

So when you run wine on Mandrake or Slackware, it makes it a non-fully Linux distro ?? Lindows is a Linux distro, there is no such thing as a half and half and it doesn't mainly run Windows programs, as that is not their goal any longer. What would be the other half if its not fully a Linux distro??
Oh man, I'm actually defending them.. Oh well, both of these are Linux distro's, they just have different varieties of installing, packages included.. etc.
