How do I tell if my hardware is optimized in Linux? I want to get the best performance out of my hardware. Here's what I have:
VooDoo 5 w/ 64mb DRAM
SoundBlaster Live Platinum
Intel Business Pro NIC
Sony E400 19inch monitor
I know that in Windows, you can check if the drivers are up to date, how do I do this in Linux?
Compiling new released kernel
