OnBoard card to external card!

I'm using Mandriva 2007, I have two sound devices this:
Code:

Vendor: ‎Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS]

Description: ‎SiS7012 PCI Audio Accelerator

Media class: ‎MULTIMEDIA_AUDIO

Connection
Bus: ‎PCI

Bus PCI #: ‎0

PCI device #: ‎2

PCI function #: ‎7

Vendor ID: ‎0x1039

Device ID: ‎0x7012

Sub vendor ID: ‎0x1043

Sub device ID: ‎0x810d

Driver
Module: ‎snd-intel8x0

Alternative drivers: ‎ali5455, i810_audio, nvaudio
and this:
Code:
Identification
Vendor: ‎C-Media Electronics Inc.

Description: ‎CM8738

Media class: ‎MULTIMEDIA_AUDIO

Connection
Bus: ‎PCI

Bus PCI #: ‎0

PCI device #: ‎9

PCI function #: ‎0

Vendor ID: ‎0x13f6

Device ID: ‎0x0111

Sub vendor ID: ‎0xffff

Sub device ID: ‎0xffff

But only the SiS7012 works! I wanna switch from the onboard to my PCI card(cmipci) anyone has an idea of how to make it work? (am totally new to linux)

Disable the onboard sound card using your BIOS settings. How you access these settings depend on your motherboard manufacturer, but typically you need to press DELETE or F2 at system start up.
