Hello everybody. I just installed Mandrake 10.0 on my new box, Athlon XP 3200, Nforce2 with integrated GF4 MX and SoundStorm audio. When I boot or try to open an audio-centered program (such as Audacity) I get a message that tells me that the sound server cannot be initialized because there is no such device and it will output to null. In the hardware section of the MDKLinux Control Center, under Soundcard, it lists nForce2 APU and nForce2 Audio Codec Interface. The Information pane listings for both of them are as follows:
