nVidia install problems
 

I have a nVidia FX Go5200 and am having a horrible time trying to get the install to work. I first downloaded the driver and followed the instruction as a non root user in which the system started to run but then said that I had to be in root. So I logged out and logged in as a root user and this is what it gives me right away (prior to getting as far as it does as non root)

Any ideas on how to fix this...I want my video card installed again.....haha...I'm sure that everyone knows how this feels. Oh yeah...I'm fairly new at Linux so I need explanations for everything, sorry! Thanks

Error in check sums means the download is bad ..............download again
