nvidia drivers

just downloaded and upgraded the newest nvidia graphics card drivers for a tnt 2 card. when fedora (c2) boots it will load the drivers and will show the nvidia splash screen but then the graphics will freeze but everything in the background is loading. ive checked my xorg.conf file numerous times and ive reinstalled the drivers a few times as well. right now i'm using an older set of drivers and would like to use the new ones. i've checked nvidia's forums and faq but this has not been an issue yet for anyone. has anyone seen this before?

The tnt2 is an old card and you won't gain anything from using the latest nvidia file which does little more than support teh new 6600 & 6800 cards. Stick with teh version that works for you and save up for a new card if performance is an issue.
