Nvidia Driver "screens found but no working config" under suse 9.2


oK I'LL OUTLINE WHAT I DID AND HOW IT SCREWED ME UP :-)
1) Fire up YOU download NVIDIA driver
2)reboot
3)nothing (wow that was a great)
4)downlaod nvidia driver
5)Ctrl+alt+f2 , init 3 , sh NVIDI*
6)Installing, compiling, blah blah blah
7)Done use sax2
8) run sax2 -m 0=nvidia
9)it won't start
10) reboot and start sax2 with no -m
11) turn on 3d accel and it changes driver to nvidia
12) TEST: NOPE : Displays were found but none had useable configuration
13) repeat process 5 times slightly diffently each time
14) Come crying for help

I have an NVIDIA geforce 2 MX 100/200 64 meg
An old monitor which has no brand on it.
suse 9.2 net installed


Please help

found my problem
i ran modprobe nvidia and did it again it worked Yippe!
